Water Lily
One of the things I love about paper crafting is that even people that don’t have an ounce of creativity (like me!) can still make beautiful things. I made this water lily using Stampin Up! paper, inks, punches and Framelits. It only took about 15 minutes to make. It was very easy to do. I got the directions from another demonstrator, Susan Levasseur, who was so kind with sharing them with other demonstrators.
To make the lily, I used the Floral Frames Framelits for the pink petals. The inside of the flower was made with two punches. The first one is Blossom Punch and the second one is called Boho Blossoms. The lily pads were made using two heart from the Hearts Framelits and then embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. All of the pieces were sponged (yes, Buffy, sponged).
This is beautiful! Be careful…sponging is the first step toward the dark side.
