Welcome to the fifth day of the Twelve Days of Christmas.  I hope you are enjoying this series that shows you how to make simple but pretty Christmas Cards.

This card uses the stamp set called Lovely As A Tree.  This set has been around the longest of any of the sets from Stampin Up! because it is still one of the prettiest.  The greeting is from Greetings of the Season which is not in any of the catalogs but is still available for purchase.

To make this card, stamp the tree in Versamark.  Sprinkle White Embossing Powder on it and heat with your Heat Tool until set.  Stamp your greeting in Midnight Muse.  Take a Stampin Sponge and tap it on the Midnight Muse Ink pad and rub over the trees until you get the darkness you wish.  Wipe off the ink that is on the trees and put your card together.  Easy!
