Today is the birthday of a friend of mine (Sherry). I think I am still being a little rebellious about the change of season because I made her a summery birthday card. The colors started out as good colors for Fall but then I felt it needed a little pop so I added the Melon Mambo flowers. The kind of blew the Fall color idea. In any case, this is a simple one layer card. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Hey You. I honestly have no clue why it is named that, but in any case, it is one of those sets that is easily overlooked. It is on page 103 of the Annual Catalog and it is shown at 50% of it’s real size. Stampin’ Up! usually shows all their stamp sets at full size but for some reason this one is smaller. It is a great size for cards so check it out and remember it is really bigger than it looks.

This card is pretty. I love the idea of doing it in all fall colors. Black & white might be elegant, too!
