This is the second card we made at our monthly Stampin’ Club meeting. It uses the stamp set called Winter Wishes that is in the 2015 Holiday Catalog. This is a great vintage set (yes, I did buy it!!). It has a sled, skis, skates and the stamps we used on this card. The snowflake is also from the Holiday Catalog and is called Snowflake Elements. It is actually made of wood and comes in a light tan color. We took an Aqua Painter and dipped it in Cherry Cobbler Ink and colored the snowflake. The first time I tried it, I just pressed the snowflake into the ink but it came out really dark (almost black). The Aqua Painter worked much better.
This is a great card if you want to make your own Christmas cards because it is not very hard to make but is so cute.
