Love Is In The Air

Stamp Off Logo Clean

It is another fun Friday when Jackie, Buffy and I participate in our Stamp Off Challenge.  This week our challenge is just in time for Valentine’s Day.

february-10

Here is my card:

Sunshine Wishes, Valentines, Stampin Up, susanstamps.wordpress.com

I just realized while I am posting that I actually followed the colors of the challenge (even though it is not a color challenge).  I didn’t mean to but I guess I need to make up for my crooked Tic Tac Toe from last week so I am following the letter of the law this week!

Also, please notice that I used Blushing Bride, a doily and Burlap Ribbon.  I think it must be a first for the doily and burlap.  I also just noticed I cut the ribbon incorrectly but hand made cards aren’t supposed to be perfect so I am leaving it the way it is.

Let’s talk about that doily.  The proper name is actually Lace Doilies and they are in the Occasions Catalog.  The reason I bought them is because one side is Very Vanilla and one side is Whisper White so you an choose which color you want to use.  I like that!

The sentiment “love” came from a set of Thinlits called.Sunshine Wishes.  The arrow is from Love Notes and the Embossing Folder is called Falling Petals.  The petals are actually little hearts.

Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made.

  1. Susan, I Love this card, it is so beautiful. And I might add that you followed both the color and the sketch aspect of the banner. Including the theme, that is a triple so you are on a rampage when it comes to challenge compliance 🙂

  2. I guess it’s true – subliminal messages do work! You certainly did match the colours in the challenge, Susan – and the card looks fab! I love the duality of the doilies.
