My oldest sister has a son who is getting married in May. My sister is what you would call a free spirit. She loves nature, she is an awesome cook, she meditates and takes care of herself. She makes me very proud. Anyway, she and her husband are responsible for the rehearsal dinner. Instead of doing the normal invitation she asked me to make her some random cards to use. The reason I am telling you this is because for the next couple of weeks (at least) you are going to see some of the cards I have been making. They are invitations so you won’t see any birthday or thank you cards (although this could be used as a birthday card too).
I used a set of Framelits called Stylish Stems to make this card. These Framelits do have a matching stamp set but I didn’t use it in this card. I thought the sentiment “celebrate” would be a good one for the invitation. I got that stamp from the stamp set called Birthday Bright. This set actually matches a card kit but I just loved the set I decided I could use it with other projects.

I love the idea of individualized cards, rather than ‘standard’ invitations, Susan! This card is beautiful – I love the colour combination, and this set. Your sister & nephew will love these. I’m looking forward to seeing the others that you’ve made!
