Lemon Zest

I totally forgot to show you the third card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting a couple of weeks ago.  We used the new stamp set that is in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog called Lemon Zest.  This stamp set has a matching punch called Lemon Builder and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  The stamp set also has an orange or grapefruit with it along with some leaves and lots of cute sentiments such as “If life gives you lemons, chuck  them right back”.  The oranges fit the 1 3/4″ punch so you don’t need to cute them out by hand.  We used the new Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This folder is thicker than normal and leaves a deeper impression.  It is awesome!

Last week I went to Alabama to visit my youngest son, Zachary, his fiancé, Mary and his sweet little baby girl named Emory Jade.  Emory is adorable although I am not sure I should call her sweet.  She is kind of a terror but we all love her just the same.  She is five months old and just starting to giggle and when she does, it melts my heart.

While down there we went to a Peach Park.  Well, that was the name of it, although it wasn’t much of a park anymore.  I think it is one of those places that used to be fun but is now run down.  The huge peach is still. there so we all had our pictures taken in front of it.  It is really a giant peach so we didn’t quite notice what it looked like until we got home.  Oh my. No comments please.  We all know already!   Just keep your eyes on Emory!  If you are from Northern New York, look at the price of gas in Alabama!

  1. I’ve never left a message but just had to. I love your stamping. I didn’t know I’d love your sense of humor too!
