Mini Treat Bag Gift Card Holder

This is another project we made at our monthly stamp club meeting last week.  As you can see it is a gift card holder.  As you can also see, I didn’t use a gift card because I could not find one.  This is a card that says “I Love You”.  I used to put it in my kids lunch boxes when they were little.  I think they were a little embarrassed but they also smiled when they saw it so I guess it did it’s job.  I was cleaning out some paperwork the other day and found it.  I can’t believe I still had it after all these years.

To make this gift card holder, we used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  It is so easy to make this little bag. The die cuts and scores for you so all you have to do it fold and glue together.  I used some of our Tear and Tape Adhesive to put it together.  Tear and Tape Adhesive is a little stronger than regular Snail or it holds better.  The words “For You” and “enjoy” are part of the die set.  The Designer Series Paper I used is called Quilted Christmas.  It is perfect for this project because the paper is 6″ x 6″ which is the exact size you need.

  1. My treat bag die is sadly under-used these days! Thanks for the reminder of how cute it is! So cute seeing your card that you would tuck into your kids lunches 🙂 I used to tuck notes into my kids’ lunches, too!
