Color Me Happy With Stampin’ Blends

Stampin’ Blends are the best invention since the napkin!  Ok, who remembers what that is from?  Be careful.  You might show your age!  Anyway, Stampin’ Blends are alcohol markers.  That means you can blend two or more colors together to make light areas, dark areas or merge colors together better.  They don’t leave coloring lines like some markers do.  They are awesome.

Another great thing about Stampin’ Blends is you can color Designer Series Paper and ribbon with it.  I did not color the ribbon on this card but you can color white ribbon to make it any of the Blends colors.  I colored the Designer Series Paper called Pick A Pattern using the Dark Bermuda Bay and the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.  I also colors the word “thank” using the Light and dark Bermuda Bay Blends.  It was super easy to do and I love how the Designer Series Paper came out.

If you don’t have any Stampin’ Blends yet, you really should try them.  They are so easy to use that even I could do it!

  1. I ♥ my Blends too! I’ve never heard of ‘best thing since the napkin’- I always say ‘best thing since sliced bread’! (so, where does the napkin saying come from?)
