This is the third card we made at our monthly stamping club meeting. I do have to say I have the best ladies in my club. They are all very nice and so much fun. We get along so well and I look forward to seeing them every month. Some of them have been with me since I started ten years ago. I must be doing something right. Thank you, ladies. I appreciate each and every one of you.
To make this card I used the stamp set called Fruit Basket. I stamped the basket outline with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Pool Party cardstock and then cut it out by hand. Thankfully it has pretty straight lines so it was not hard to cut out. Then I stamped the pears using Pear Pizzazz ink and punched them out with the adorable mini punches that match the stamp set (you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle). I hand colored the stems using a Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker. I put the pears and basket onto a circle I cut out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
The Designer Series Paper we used isn’t really Designer Series Paper! I used the cardstock from the Tutti-Fruitti Cards & Envelopes pack in the Sale-a-bration Catalog. If you purchased the Fruit Basket Bundle and the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies you could get set this pack of cards and (very cute) envelopes for free until March 31st when Sale-a-bration ends. They are really cute and free! I love free!
