A Waterfront Challenge

Good morning everyone!  Today our Stamp Off Challenge is to use the stamp set called Waterfront.  Really now, this is not much of a challenge because this is an awesome stamp set.  Plus, it is being carried over into the 2018/2019 Annual Catalog!

Did you know this stamp set was inspired by a Demonstrator?  When you reach a million dollars in sales you get to design your own stamp set.  This one was by Connie Heisey and it is my favorite!  Normally I use this set to make a mountain or lake scene.  Today I decided to make it tropical.

This card is so easy to make because the stamps do all the work.  I first stamped the sand in Sahara Sand ink.  Then I sponged the water using Tempting Turquoise (which is one of the retiring Stampin’ Up! colors >insert sad face<).  The rest of the card was made using the stamps.  The colors are Pacific Point, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach (retiring), Sweet Sugarplum (retiring), Calypso Coral and So Saffron, Soft Suede (retiring) and Old Olive.

Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy have made using this set.  I am sure every card is different and beautiful because you can’t go wrong with this stamp set!
