Bird Banter Waterfall Card

This is another card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting.  It is a fun fold called Waterfall Card.  Honestly between you and me, I am not sure why it is called a Waterfall Card but it is certainly fun!  You pull the piece of Daffodil cardstock down and the layers start to flip up so you can see the layer below.

We used the stamp set called Bird Banter to make the Waterfall part.  It is an adorable set that is in the 2018 Occasions Catalog.  I know every is talking about the retirement list but the Occassion Catalog is still available until May 31st.  Bird Banter will not be in the 2018/2019 Annual Catalog so I guess you could say it is retiring when the catalog ends.

The background for this card was made using the stamp set Sunshine Sayings.  Sunshine Sayings is being carried over into the next Annual Catalog.  We stamped the flowers in Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight.  The leaves were stamped in Emerald Envy which is an InColor that will also be retiring on May 31st.  We stamped the birds in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colors them with Stampin’ Blends (Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie).

If you would like instructions on how to make this card you can go to Splitcoast Stampers and look under the Tutorial Tab.  They have directions on just about any card style you can think of and is a great resource for all things stampin’!

Here are some more cards I made in the past using Bird Banter (just in case you needed more reasons to buy this set before it is going forever.!

  1. I’m so sad that this set is retiring – it’s one of my favourites, too, Susan! I love your waterfall card, as well as the others. Looks like we both had birds on our minds for today! 🙂
