Good morning! It is Friday which means it is time for another Stamp Off Challenge. This time we have a sketch challenge given to us by Jackie.
Here is my card:
I decided to use the new stamp set (and everyone’s favorite) from the 2018/2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog called Rooted In Nature. This stamp set is kind of liked Lovely As A Tree, which has been around forever, but on steroids! It is an awesome set that has sixteen stamps in it. This includes 4 tree stamps, some leaves and a few sentiments. The best part of this is it has matching Framelits called Nature’s Roots! No more fussy cutting the trees from Lovely As A Tree! It is fabulous!
To make this card I first stamped each of the images in Night Of Navy Ink. Then I just backed them in a piece of Night Of Navy cardstock. It was very simple to make. The Designer Series Paper I used is called Nature’s Poem and is included in this Suite of Products.
Now let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made using this sketch.

“Lovely as a Tree…on steroids.” That cracked me up – but it’s so true! Great card, Susan. I LOVE your take on the sketch.

Susan, what a great description and lovely card. The DSP and images are perfect together. I love the simplicity of fewer colors, but lots of shapes!

Terrific sketch and I love your addition of the sentiment block at the bottom. Glad to see you on the ‘Rooted in Nature’ bandwagon! 🙂
