This is another card we made at our June monthly stamp club meeting. It uses the stamp set called Abstract Impressions.. This is a new stamp set that is in the 2018/2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It has a set of matching dies (although we did not use them on this card) called Springtime Impressions. You can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.
Abstract Impression is a two step stamp set. This is where you use two or more stamps to make one image. To make this card I worked from the bottom up. I first stamped the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and then the swoosh in Lemon Lime Twist. Then I stamped the stems in Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist. I think if I did this card again, I would switch those colors and make the larger stems Lemon Lime Twist and the smaller stems in Granny Apple Green. Last but not least, I stamped the flowers in Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel. Oh wait, the last thing I did was stamp the bug in Highland Heather ink. Aren’t these new colors just gorgeous!?!
Here is a video that Stampin’ Up! made using this great bundle:

Susan I love the new colors and how you used them in this card. The stamp set is going on my wish list.
