Here is another color combination that I would never think of putting together in the past. I have been having a lot of fun experimenting with colors and I really love how this one came out.
To make this card I first cut out all the different circles using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits. The colors I used are Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana. I popped you the smaller circles using Dimensionals. Then I cut out the word “celebrate” using the Celebrate You Thinlits in Grapefruit Grove. Grapefruit Grove is one of the new InColors.
The sentiment is from the stamp set called Happy Birthday Gorgeous. The stamp really says It’s Your Day but I masked off the word “It’s” before stamping it. This is super easy to do. I just cover the word I do not want to stamp with tape. Then I ink the stamp and remove the tape before stamping on my cardstock.
Love those colors! Very cute card, Susan!
I think you’ve become my new ‘colour coach’, Susan! I’d never think of this combination – it’s amazing! (by the way – I think you meant ‘popped up’, rather than ‘pooped you’! LOL)
