Good morning and Happy Friday to everyone. Today is our day for our Stamp Off Challenge with Buffy, Jackie and me! Today we are doing a patriotic challenge.
Here is my card:
I just realized as I was posting this that I did absolutely no stamping with this card. It was super easy to make. I used Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade and Whisper White cardstock. I like the Poppy Parade better than Real Red and the Blueberry Bushel instead of Night Of Navy because they are a little brighter.
To make this card I first embossed a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock using the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder. Then I cut it at a diagonal and attached it to a piece of 4″ x 5.25″ Whisper White cardstock. I cut three 1/2″ strips of Poppy Parade cardstock and adhered them to the Whisper White. The word celebrate is from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.

Susan, this is perfection! I love the embossed stars, the stripes – and the colors! I never even thought about Blueberry Bushel! It’s much better for the flag blue. Gorgeous!!

This is such a cool card Susan. I love the sentiment on the angle, with the stripes following suit. I would never get those stripes to line up so nicely. Great idea!
