A Patriotic Stamp Off Challenge

Good morning and Happy Friday to everyone.  Today is our day for our Stamp Off Challenge with Buffy, Jackie and me!  Today we are doing a patriotic challenge.

Here is my card:

I just realized as I was posting this that I did absolutely no stamping with this card.  It was super easy to make.  I used Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade and Whisper White cardstock.  I like the Poppy Parade better than Real Red and the Blueberry Bushel instead of Night Of Navy because they are a little brighter.

To make this card I first embossed a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock using the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder.  Then I cut it at a diagonal and attached it to a piece of 4″ x 5.25″ Whisper White cardstock.  I cut three 1/2″ strips of Poppy Parade cardstock and adhered them to the Whisper White.  The word celebrate is from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.

Now let’s go see what kind of patriotic card Buffy and Jackie made.  I am sure you will love them!

  1. Susan, this is perfection! I love the embossed stars, the stripes – and the colors! I never even thought about Blueberry Bushel! It’s much better for the flag blue. Gorgeous!!

  2. This is such a cool card Susan. I love the sentiment on the angle, with the stripes following suit. I would never get those stripes to line up so nicely. Great idea!
