Now that we have left the cottage and are back living in our “normal” house, I have started to enjoy the Fall season. When I am at the cottage I want nothing but sunshine and warm, sunny weather. Once we move back, I am ready for Fall. By the way, I am never ready for winter win case you wondered!
Our house is surrounded by beautiful trees that turn the most amazing colors in the Fall. There are bright yellows, oranges and reds. My favorite is the Red Maple. It is also a time for pumpkins and sunflowers. I have never grown sunflowers but I love watching the time lapse videos showing how they actually follow the sun when they are young plants. You can find a ton of these videos on YouTube.
I used the stamp set called Painted Harvest to make this sunflower card. I drew the stems with a Stampin’ Write Marker. The colors I used are Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Soft Suede.
Beautiful sunflowers, Susan! Nothing can cheer up a gloomy fall day quite like a sunflower. Welcome back to the ‘real’ weather 🙂

These are beautiful, Susan! I love sunflowers, although I’ve never grown them either. I’m looking forward to fall, but I’ll miss your sunset pictures.
