Do you need a quick and easy card? Do you have a lot of little pieces of cardstock laying around? Here is a perfect card that works for both of those issues. The hardest part was picking out the colors to use!
To make this card I cut the Thank You using the Thank You Thinlits Die from a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock. As you know, I love large sentiment stamps and dies. Stampin’ Up!® offer this one and a Happy Birthday Die. Then I just found various pieces of cardstock that was already cut and layered them on one another onto a Smoky Slate card base until I found a layout I liked. In this case I used a piece of Highland Heather, Mango Melody, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove. I like how summery all these colors look together.
I am sure all of you have pieces of cardstock just like this hanging around. Put them to good use!
Today is my sister, Emily’s birthday. She lives in Savannah and I don’t get to see her enough. Emily is the kindest and most thoughtful person I know. She does so much for others all the time. When I grow up I want to be just like her. Happy Birthday, Emily. I hope your day is wonderful!
