Here is a quick and easy but cute Christmas card you can make in a short time.
Plaid is very in this year and the Buffalo Check background stamp is perfect for making a plaid background in any color. This stamp works best in your Stamparatus because if it doesn’t come out perfectly, you can just stamp it again and again until it does. Unfortunately, I did not use my Stamparatus but instead inked the stamp facing up using Memento Ink and laid my Real Red cardstock on top and rubbed. As you can see I miss a couple of spots but I thought it made it kind of rustic looking so I left it alone.
The sentiment is made from a couple of dies in the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies set with Silver Foil Sheets. I love big fonts so I knew I had to purchase it. There are four different words (the other two are Holidays and Happy) plus there are two dies that cut out the sentiments from the matching stamp set. This stamp set is called Merry Christmas To All (and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle).
The snowflakes were cut out using the Blizzard Thinlits Die also using the Silver Foil Sheets. I love this die because it cuts out a whole sheet of snowflakes at once. You can use the snowflakes or the negative. I used the negative on this card.

I LOVE this card! So fun. The combination of the silver and the plaid is awesome. I can smell wood fires and pine trees when I look at it. Maybe I’ll spend the snow day decorating for Christmas. (Or maybe I’ll play with new “tools.”)

The buffalo plaid looks like a comfy, worn shirt! Adding the silver on top really adds the festive feeling 😉
