One of my favorites things about being a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator is I get to get my hands on new products early. I am not a patient person and when I start seeing peeks of new products I want them NOW!. I can do that being a Demonstrator!
I made this card using a new set of dies called Garage Gears Thinlits (item#148521). When I saw that die with the gears, I knew I had to have it! It is one large die, although the set does include individual gear dies too. This set of dies does have a matching stamp set called Geared Up Garage (item#148590) but I did not use it on this card. You can buy both of these products now if you are a Demonstrator. Otherwise they will be available to everyone on January 2nd. You can also save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle (item#150610). I can’t list these items at the bottom of my page because they are not available yet.
I made the background of the card using the Chicken Wire Elements that are in the Holiday Catalog. I taped a piece of Whisper White cardstock and one Chicken Wire Element to a board and then used a Stamping Sponge to dab Gray Granite ink over it.
I cut the gears out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Picture Perfect Birthday.
If you are impatient as I am and are interested in becoming a Demonstrator you can click on the link to the right of this post that says “Join Now”. If you have any questions about it, leave a comment or send me an email.
This is the best card ever! I love the chicken wire background, and those gears! ❤ Awesome card!
I really like the masked/sponged background – it’s perfect behind those die cut gears. Great colour combo, too!
Susan what a wonderful masculine card! That background is spectacular, especially with the gears. I”ve been on the fence about this set, but this card is really pushing me!
I love the gears. Great card Susan.
