Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!  Did you know approximately 150 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas.  What better way to give a Valentine than to make one!

To make this card I used the stamp set called Meant To Be.  This set is in the 2019 Occasions Catalog.  It has a set of matching dies called Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  You can save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle.  I know it is too late to purchase them for today but this set can be used for other occasions too.  The sentiments are great for anniversaries, weddings and friendship.  The dies are amazing.  They cut out regular hearts and stitched hearts that can all be layered together.  There are sixteen dies in the set.  It is a great value!  Plus if you buy the stamps and dies in a Bundle you will be eligible to get something free from the Sale-a-bration Catalog!

I first stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst Ink on Whisper White cardstock and then cut it out using two of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  One die cuts out the scalloped heart and the inner heart.  The second die adds the stitching around the sentiment.  Then I cut out another heart in Berry Burst cardstock so I could layer them together.  The little hearts are actually a border die that cuts them out all at once.  I took one of the leftover hearts from this border and added it to the bottom of the sentiment heart.

The Designer Series Paper I used is called Animal Expedition.  I bet you didn’t expect that.  The ribbon is gorgeous.  It is 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon in Berry Burst and has a silver edge to it.  It just adds a bit of sparkle.

Don’t forget it is Sale-a-bration time! Earn FREE merchandise with a qualifying purchase.  Get an extra $25 in Hostess Benefits with a $250 single or group order! Join my Stampin Up! family and get a $175 worth of products for $99  or get the Carry & Craft Tote and $175 worth of products for $129!
