This is just a quick post to let you know I am on my way to Charlotte, North Carolina to attend the Stampin’ Up!® OnStage Local Event. I am so excited! OnStage is a Convention for Demonstrators only. There is one live OnStage Events and a bunch of local events. This year the live event is in New Zealand. As much as I would love to go there, it is just not feasible right now which is why I am going to Charlotte for the OnStage Local Event.
There are so many reasons I love going to these OnStage Events. First of all, I get to see Buffy. You all know Buffy since I talk about her a lot. She lives in Virginia so it is hard to see her very often. I will also be with a lot of other Demonstrators from around the country. who are wild and crazy and fun to watch.
Secondly, we get a copy of the 2019/2020 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog! I love seeing all the new products in there and I get to order some of them early. I am not a patient person so this makes me happy. The new catalog will go live for everyone else on June 3rd.
Last but not least, I also get new FREE stuff, which is always awesome!
When I get back I hope to share some photos (if I remember to take any). Sometimes I get caught up with everything and forget to get that camera out but I will try to do my best.
If you are interested in attending one of these fun events just click on the Join Now button to the right of this post. You can purchase $125 worth of products for $99 (with free shipping). There is no obligation to buy another thing but I know you will because you get an awesome discount too!
There is a little bit of news that has been released from Stampin’ Up!® early. In the past all the dies and embossing folders were made by Sizzix. I am sure this is not a big surprise since Sizzix’s name is on most of them. Stampin’ Up!® has decided to not continue doing business with Sizzix and to have their dies and embossing folders made directly by a manufacturing company. In essence, this cuts out the middle man. Some of the problems with all the backorders during Sale-a-bration were caused because when Stampin’ Up!® had to order dies, they needed to contact Sizzix and then Sizzix would deal with the manufacturer. Going directly to the manufacturer should speed things up a big and (hopefully) have less backorders. As a result of all of this, Stampin’ Up!® will no longer carry the Big Shot. Sizzix makes the Big Shot so this makes sense. They are researching other products to replace the Big Shot but that is not done yet.
The other bit of information is Stampin’ Up!® has also decided to stop selling the Stampin’ Trimmer so it also will not be in the new Annual Catalog that begins in June. They will also not be selling the replacement blades, replacement mats or scorers. Unfortunately they are already out of the blades and replacement mats.
I know that some of this news will be a bit upsetting to some of you and I apologize for that. In the long run, I think Stampin’ Up! will come up with better products which will benefit us all. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
In the meantime, have fun stampin’!!
Can’t wait to see you in a few hours!!
