Good morning everyone. Today’s Stamp Off Challenge is to make a Mother’s Day card. Easy, right?
I decided to use a retiring stamp set called Falling Flowers. This set has matching dies called May Flowers. The dies are retiring too. Both of these products have been around for a while so I am not surprised they are going. Still, I like this set so I will miss it.
If you look closely at the card you will also see I used a die from Flourish Thinlits. These dies will be in our next catalog. I wanted to add a little texture to the background so I thought this die worked well. I layered it on a piece of cardstock I cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Dies.
The sentiment is from the stamp set called Itty Bitty Birthdays. This set is in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and is carrying over to the new catalog. This is a great set full of different birthday greetings. As you can see, I used it for Mother’s Day too because I don’t have a Mother’s Day stamp! Can you believe that??
The colors I used for this card are Soft Sea Foam, Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody.
Now, let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made.
Susan, this is such a pretty combination of products and dies. I really like the combination of white and colors, too
I love the embossed background – it adds so much, even with being ‘barely there’!
Wow!! I love the bright flowers against the white “flourish” diecuts. And the stitched rectangle layer is a beautiful touch.
