Inspiring Iris

Here is another birthday card I made for someone I met through Stampin’ Up!®.  Jackie is part of the BS & J Productions and our Stamp Off Challenges so you all know her.  Jackie and I met online through a forum that is for Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators only.  We have never met in person but I feel like we have been great friends for years.  If you are interested in joining my Stampin Up! family, just send me an email or click on the Join Now button to the right of this post.

To make this card I used the stamp set called Inspiring Iris.  This stamp set is a two step set which means it takes two or more stamps to make an image.  In this case the stems and the leaves are two different stamps.  There is also a stamp that outlines the images but I did not use it on this card.  I used Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green inks.  The background is from a piece of 6″ x 6″ InColors Designer Series Paper in Terracotta Tile.  I cut out the Iris using a die from the Stitched Rectangles and then another piece in Petal Pink cardstock.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays.  As you can tell, I use this set a lot.

Happy birthday, Jackie.  I hope you had a terrific day!

  1. Oh, my goodness this is beautiful. Love your card stock that’s “askew.” I’m so proud of you (and it’s perfectly tilted!!). Seriously – that’s Terracotta Tile? It looks like a dark pink and is gorgeous with the Petal Pink! Love your colors, and I know Jackie LOVED her card!
