Bonanza Buddies

Life has certainly changed in the last month or so.  We have been staying at home for almost five weeks.  We go for rides every now and then and we walk outside every day (weather permitting) so it hasn’t been too bad.  I think the hardest part of this whole thing has been that Rob has been working from home now.  This is what his “office” looks like:

Yes, that used to be my dining room.  You can see the shelves are pretty empty due to packing things up.  There is no door on this room but Rob makes me knock on the wall before entering anyway.  I am sure there are many, many, many people out there with the same set up.  At least he still has a job.  We are very thankful and very fortunate in that.

I made this card using the Birthday Bonanza Suite that is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2020 January – June Mini Catalog.  This bundle includes the Bonanza Buddies stamp set and the matching Bonanza Dies, Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, Assorted Pompoms and Gusseted Cellophane Bags.  You can order the entire Suite with one code or order each item separately.  When you order the stamp set and dies as a Bundle, you can save 10%.

To make this card I first used a card base of Whisper White cardstock.  I layered two pieces of the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper on top of a piece of Terracotta Tile cardstock and adhered that to the base.  I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta Tile ink and cut it out using the stitched tag die from the Bonanza Dies.  The tag dies even cuts out the little slot at the top.  I stamped the Koala in Smoky Slate and Memento Black ink and the balloon in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I added the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon with a piece of Grapefruit Grove twine from the Nature’s Twine Pack.

  1. This card is so, so cute! I would even say it’s a ‘koala-ty’ card! (sorry – I had to go there! going a bit crazy here, myself!) Good thing that you have your own craft room, so that you & Rob didn’t have to ‘throw down’ to see who claimed the dining room! (Al wouldn’t stand a chance)

  2. LOVE this card, Susan! So cute and fun. My dining room table is also a desk. I had a desk, but then Mike took it back, so I get the table. I’m not complaining; there’s more room! But I don’t make Mike knock. Seriously? You have to knock???
