Timeless Tulips Flower Challenge

Hello everyone.  It is time once again, for another Stamp Off Challenge.  This time out challenge is “flowers”.  This has to be the easiest challenge ever because if Stampin’ Up!® has anything, it has flowers.  Lots and lot of flowers!

I decided to go with the Timeless Tulips Bundle for this challenge.  After playing with this I ended up making a card that didn’t use the Timeless Tulips stamp set.  I only use the Tulip Builder Punch.  This punch cuts out the main part of the tulip and some leaves.  I was punching out some and realized that the leaves could also be used a tulip petals making them look more 3D.

To make this card I first punched out the tulips in Daffodil Delight and Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  Then I layered the petals on top of the main tulip body using Dimensionals to add a little depth to them.  I cut the stems out using the Lily Pad Dies in Granny Apple Green cardstock.  I apologize ahead of time because I know Sale-a-bration is over and I just realized as I was writing this that I had used those dies.  As you know, I had to put all my stamping supplies away in mid February in order to stage our house for sale so all the cards I have been posting were made back then.  Things are still put away so I can’t fix it for you.   Sorry about that.

The sentiment I used is from the stamp set called Kindness & Compassion.  This stamp set is in the 2019/2020 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog.  The little Granny Apple Green heart is from the Dog Builder Punch.

Now let’s go see what Buffy and Jackie made with their many, many flower sets!  Those two are so inspiring to me!

  1. Susan, this is a brilliant card. I love just the punch elements, and the little hearts so perfectly placed. This is a stunner and good recommendation for that punch
