Hello everyone.  It is time for another Stamp Off Challenge with Buffy, Jackie and me.  This time our challenge was to use our favorite Designer Series Paper.  This was probably the hardest challenge we have had in a long time.  Why you ask?  Because I truly haveTHREE favorite DSPs.  I love Flowers For Every Season because it is bright and cheery.  It has flower patterns on one side and designs on the other.  I also love Peony Garden for the total opposite reason I love Flowers For Every Season.  Peony Garden is soft and uses neutral colors and goes with everything.  Then there is Forever Greenery.  I love the colors in this paper and it has beautiful leaf designs on one side and patterns on the other.  I was tempted to show you three cards using each of these papers but I decided to will have to wait to see the other two.  Although I was going to show you the Peony Garden DSP but I didn’t like the card I made so I changed my mind.

As you can see I chose Forever Greenery for this challenge.  The great thing about this paper is it uses every green Stampin’ Up!® offers except Old Olive.  Actually Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive are very close so you could get away with using it.

To make this card I first ran a piece of Whisper White cardstock through my die cutting machine using one of the Greenery Embossing Folders and layered it over a piece of Forever Greenery DSP.  The two designs go together since they are similar in design.  I layered them on top of a  Shaded Spruce card base.  Then I stamped the leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set three times.  I cut two of them out using the coordinating dies called Forever Flourishing and left one uncut in the background.  I stamped the berries in Rococo Rose and cut that out too.  I stamped the greeting and put it all together.  I felt like it needed something so I added a piece of the Misty Moonlight and Silver Baker’s Twine.  I am not sure if that made it look better so just weird because it doesn’t really match but I left it anyway.

Now let’s go see what Designer Series Paper Buffy and Jackie used.  Do you think they had as much trouble as I did choosing?
