Nothing’s Better Than

Stampin Up Nothings Better Than

Nothing’s Better Than is such a fun stamp set.  It is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2020/2021 Annual Catalog and has a set of coordinating dies called Love You More Than.  If you buy them both in a Bundle you can save 10%!  The best part is you choose from saying nothing is better than cookie or coffee or cocktails.  I would probably replace the coffee one with tea because I am one of those crazy people that does not drink coffee (I know.  I am sure you do think I am crazy, right Buffy?).

Normally, I use the word cocktails (my favorite thing on a Friday night) but this time I had to make a birthday card for my grandson so I used cookies instead.  I actually made this and on 9/11 which is why I used red (Real Red), white (Whisper White) and blue (Misty Moonlight) and then realized it looked pretty good with Crumb Cake too.

I first cut out the words using the Love You More Than Dies.  I wanted to make they stick up a bit so I used the new Foam Adhesive Sheets.  You just cut out a piece of he foam, attached it to the cardstock and then cut it out using a die.  You do have to run it through your Cut “n Emboss machine a couple of times because it is thick but it worked just fine.  The photo below shows how they pop up a bit.

After cutting out the sentiments I adhered them to a label I cut out using the Hippo & Friends die set.  These dies go with the Hippo Happiness stamp set but they also have a bunch of different sized labels included.  I love them for that.  The little squiggle on the bottom is also from the Hippo & Friends die set.  I stamped the cookies in Crumb Cake ink and the chips in Early Espresso and cut them out with the coordinating die.

The Designer Series Paper is paper is from the 2020-2022 In Color paper.
