This year I decided to make two Christmas cards. I usually just make one but after making 30 of the same card I decided to change it. This is the second of the cards. Friday is our next Stamp Off Challenge where we are supposed to post our Christmas card so you will see the other one then.
In The Pines is one of my favorite sets in the 2020 August – December Mini Catalog (otherwise known as the Holiday Catalog). I actually have two favorites, but again, you will see the second one on Friday. I especially love the dies in this set. They include dies to cut out the trees of the stamp set plus they cut out the snow hills. I love that! The stamp set is called In The Pines and the coordinating dies are called Pine Woods. Unfortunately this bundle is retiring on January 3rd but you can still get it at a 10% discount until then. Of course, this is while supplies last so if you like it, you need to order it now.
I first cut out the trees using the Pine Woods Dies in Whisper White cardstock. Then I cut out the snow hill. I ran a piece of Rococo Rose cardstock through my Cut and Emboss Machine using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. This folder is also retiring in January. I love the embossed snowflakes. Then I cut layered everything together on a Rich Razzleberry card base. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Poinsettia Petals.

I absolutely love this Christmas card. The nontraditional colors are wonderful and it is beautiful in it’s simplicity.

This is so striking and elegant, Susan! I love the colors you used. The white trees really stand out well against the Rococo Rose – and I LOVE that you paired it with Rich Razzleberry. Another great combo I never thought of.
