Hello everyone. It is time for another Stamp Off Challenge with Jackie, Buffy and me. This time our challenge is to use our favorite products from the new 2021 January – June Mini Catalog. I had a hard time choosing this because there are so many great products in this catalog but I went with the Fine Art Floral Suite. I love the images in this suite, and of course, the coordinating dies (which you can purchase in a Bundle and save 10%) and the Gilded Leafing.
To make this card, I first took a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock and embossed it using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. It kind of looks like stucco on a wall and is very subtle. After that I stamped the large and medium flowers in Coastal Cabana ink. Then I did the magic! I stamped the second part of these flowers in Versamark and sprinkled Heat & Stick Powder over it and melted it with my Heat Tool. The trick here is to just heat it until it melts. If you heat it too much it looses it stickiness and the Gilded Leafing won’t stick. After it is barely melted you stick in the Leafing on it and press down. Then I took a sponge and wiped off the excess. I did the same thing with the smaller flowers after stamping the first layer in Petal Pink. I cut all of these out using the coordinating dies.
As a side note, the Gilded Leafing comes in a small jar. I carefully opened it because I had read online that if you open it too quickly it will go all over the place. It is very, very light and can float around. I dumped it in a box that has a top to it. That way, I can put the stamped image upside down in the box and press. Make sure you put the top back on the box or you just might hit it with your elbow and send the leafing flying (yes, I did this).
The next thing I did was take the striped stamp from the stamp set called Pattern Play and lightly inked it with Versamark, sprinkled the Heat & Stick Powder, heat it with my Heat Tool and added the Gilded Leafing. I stamped it lightly because I didn’t want it to be heavy lines and also wiped the Gilding off harder than usual. I layered that piece of cardstock on a piece of Gold Foil.
I stamped the stems in Mint Macaron ink and cut them out using the dies. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink and cut it out using the coordinating die and layered it on top of a mall strip of Gold Foil Paper.
Now, let’s go see what Jackie’s and Buffy”s favorite products are in the new catalog. I am sure they will talk me into buying something I haven’t already because they always do!

Susan, this is beautiful and I suspect much more lovely in person. I love the pattern play gilded area. I’ve been debating how to do stripes and that is perfect!

That gilding is just gorgeous! I love it better than the ‘regular’ embossing powder – it looks amazing.
