Can you believe it is February already? I don’t know how time flies by so quickly. I think part of the problem is, it always seems like we are waiting for something. We are waiting for our birthday or a vacation or retirement or just for the day to be over. Julie Salva, who is a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator and my “upline” for another direct sales company I am a member of, did a video right before Christmas this year. She talked about how sad it was that her Christmas was being spent alone with no children because they are usually together. Then she talked about being “present”. Live for the present. Enjoy the present even if it is a change from the norm. I loved her message and I am trying to live for the present these days instead of wishing the time would go faster because <insert whatever reason here>. I am hoping this will slow time down. I am not convinced that will happen but it still was a great message and a good philosophy to live by.
So February starts the second and last month of Sale-a-bration this winter. There are so many great products in the SAB catalog that you can get for free with a qualifying order. One of my favorite products is the Berry Blessings Bundle. This bundle includes the Berry Blessing stamp set and the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper pack. You can get both of these items for free with a $100 order. Another great thing about this bundle is it coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle that is in the 2021 January – June Mini Catalog. The Sweet Strawberry Bundle includes the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and the Strawberry Builder punch. I decided to use both bundles for this card. By the way, both stamp sets are two-step stamps sets which means it take two stamps to make one image.
The first thing I did was cut a piece of the Berry Delightful DSP on an angle and adhere it to a piece of Basic White cardstock. I wanted it to look like a table with a table cloth on top. Then I stamped the strawberries, strawberry tops and the flowers and punched them out using the Strawberry Builder Punch. I stamped the blueberries and cut them out by hand and layered them all together. I stamped the sentiment, which is in the Sweet Strawberry stamp set, in Garden Green ink in the corner and layered all of that on a piece of Garden Green cardstock.
Sale-a-bration is the best time of year because you can earn free products with a qualifying purchase. It is also the best time to join my Stampin’ Up! family. For $99 you can pick $125 worth of products from the Annual or Spring Catalogs. Plus you get
- A an assortment of six 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper packs
- Free business supplies
- Free shipping!!

This is so “sweet!” It does look exactly like a table with a tablecloth. And I love the “living in the present” idea. (If I could just figure out what day it is presently!)
