Hydrangea Haven

Stampin Up Hydrangea Haven

Hydrangea Hill is a suite of products that are in the 2021 January – June Mini Catalog.  This suite includes the stamp set called Hydrangea Haven, coordinating dies called Hydrangea, absolutely gorgeous Designer Series Paper called Hydrangea Hill, beautiful ribbon, Mercury Acetate in different colors and Pastel Pearls.  The pearls are so soft and pretty and come in four different colors.

To make this card, I first used an oval mask (or stencil) I have and put it over a piece of Basic White card stock.  I used some removable tape to keep the cardstock and the mask in place.  I used my Blending Brushes with Seaside Spray Ink and added color to the card stock.  I did it a little darker around the edges and lighter in the middle to give it some depth.

Next I stamped the Hydrangea in Memento Black Ink and colored the leaves in Just Jade using Stampin’ Up!® Blends.   I stamped the flower part of the die again, colored it using my Dark and Light Highland Heather Blends and then cut that out using a different die in the Hydrangea set.  This die cuts out the outline of the flower plus it partially cuts out some of the little flowers within the outline.  Then is bent up the flowers so it looks 3D.  Here is what it looks like up close.

I adhered the flower to the Basic White card stock, stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink and then added some of the Pastel Pearls.

Hydrangea Haven stamp set and the coordinating dies are being carried over to the new Annual Catalog that begins on May 4th.  Seaside Spray ink is retiring so if you like it, you need to order it before that date or before they run out of stock.
