Sweet As A Peach

Stampin Up Sweet As a Peach

My friend, Jackie has an amazing back yard.  She was showing me pictures the other day of it.  She has miniature peach, cherry and apples trees that bloom lots of flowers and then fruit.  I think that is amazing and would love to have it in my back yard.  There is nothing better than fresh fruit right off the tree!

Speaking of peaches, You’re A Peach is a new suite that is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2021/2022 Annual Catalog.  This suite includes the stamp set called Sweet As A Peach, coordinating dies called Peach Dies, You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper, and these cute little Mini Jam Jars.  I love this suite!  It just seems so bright and summery (not sure if that is a real word or not but it should me).

The Sweet As A Peach stamp set is a DisINKtive stamp set.  This means that each stamp creates different opacities in a single image which brings depth to that image.  If you look at the peach you can see some parts of it are darker and some are lighter giving more of a 3D look.

To make this card, I first stamped the peach using Calypso Coral ink on a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock,  Then I stamped all the leaves in Pear Pizzazz Ink and the small flowers in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White card stock.  Then I cut them all out using the coordinating dies.  I stamped the sentiment is Calypso Coral ink and cut that out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I layered all of these on a piece of the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper and a piece of Pale Papaya cardstock.  I used Basic White as the card base.

  1. Susan this is such a wonderful card. I love your rich color combination and the lovely layout that features both the blossoms and the peach. Just delightful.
