Stampin Up Picture This

There is a new set of dies in the Stampin’ Up!® 2021-2022 Annual Catalog that caught my eye the first time looking through it.  It is called Picture This.  There are two dies in this set.  One cuts out all the stitched circles on this card at once and the other die cuts out stitched rectangles.  I loved it right away because I love dies that do different things.

I decided to pair this die with the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set and Love You More Than dies.  Most of the stamps in this set fit in the window so it worked out perfectly.

The first thing I did to make this card is to cut the circles out of a So Saffron card base.  I love how the stitching is on the card base as well as the circles it cuts out.  I am going to save those circles for another time.  Then I cut out a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Basic White cardstock and placed it inside the So Saffron card base and drew the circles lightly with a pencil.

Stampin Up Picture This Next I stamped all the images from the stamp set called Nothing’s Better Than using Soft Suede ink and cut them out using the coordinating dies from the set called Love You More Than.  Then I stamped the inside of the cup and umbrella drink using the appropriate stamp (the cup and glass are two step stamping where it takes two stamps to make one image) and colored the lemon and umbrella using my Stampin’ Blends.  I adhered them to the different circles using Dimensionals.  I stamped the words Today’s and Plan:  in each circle masking off the other words in the saying with tape and then removing the tape before stamping.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the card.

The Picture This dies can go with any stamp set you have that has small images.

  1. OH NO!! Don’t show me this cute, sweet card! I think this is such a great way to use the Love You More Bundle! Just a natural layout. You are totally being an enabler again.
