Sneak Peek Counting Sheep

Stampin Up Counting Sheep

Tomorrow is a big day in the world of Stampin’ Up!®!!  The new July – December Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration catalogs go live!  For those of you who don’t know, Sale-a-bration happens twice a year.  Well, it used to be once a year but this year Stampin’ Up!® is celebrating Sale-a-bration twice.  During this period you can earn free products from the Sale-a-bration catalog with qualifying orders.  There is no limit on how many products you can get for free!  It is my favorite time of year!

The card I made today using two of the products you can get for free with a qualifying order.  The stamp set is called Counting Sheep and the coordinating dies are called Sheep Dies.  Both are just adorable!  You can get one of them with a $50 order (before shipping and tax) or both with a $100 order.  There are also many other products that you can get for free available such as stamp sets, dies and Designer Series Paper.

To make this card I first stamped the sheep in Memento Black Ink and colored them with my Crumb Cake Stampin Blends.  I cut the fence out of Crumb Cake card stock and adhered that below the sheep.  I stamped the hats and colored them using Blends and cut out the balloons with a die included in this set using Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape card stock.

The sentiment is from the stamp set called Many Messages.  I colored it using a Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape Stampin Write Marker and then cut it out using the coordinating die called Messages.  I have to admit I first stamped it crooked right below the middle sheep so I stamped it again and cut it out and then adhered it over the crooked one with a Dimensional.  As they say “there is no such thing as a mistake in stamping.  There is only room for embellishments!”.  Lastly I took a Granny Apple Green Stampin Write Marker and added some grass under the fence.

As you can see I did not attached any links for these new products since they are not available until tomorrow.  There are no links available until the time they go live. Thanks for understanding.

  1. Susan, this is so darn cute! I love the interest that you’ve created with the sheep going off the paper. It looks so alive and vivid
