I made this quick and easy birthday card for my grandson, Nolan. He is going to be four soon (can you believe that!?!) and he loves ice cream so I thought it was appropriate. It was a super easy card to make and quick too!
I used the stamp set called Sweet Ice Cream. This set has a coordinating punch called Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch (although I did not use it for this card). I first stamped the three popsicles in Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody ink. Then I stamped the popsicle sticks in Crumb Cake Ink. Then all I had to do was stamp the two sentiments in Memento Black ink and I was done! I told you it was quick and easy!
Nolan is such a sweet boy and so much fun to be with. He loves coming to our house to spend the night. Right now he sleeps in a bed that has sides to it so I was a little worried about him sleeping in a full sized bed. I found these great bumpers on Amazon that work perfect and Nolan loves them. The bed is now officially his. When he comes over the first thing he does is run upstairs and jump in his bed. He is just so adorable!
