Here is another “older” stamp set that is in the Stampin’ Up!® 2021/2022 Annual Catalog. It is called Jar Of Flowers and it has a coordinating punch called Jar. It is a beautiful stamp set with four different flower arrangements as well as two different sized jars, flower stems and a couple of other stamps. This stamp set is also a Reversible stamp set so you can stamp the jars and then turn the stamp over to stamp the inside of the jars a different color.
To make this card I first stamped the sunflowers in Memento Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped it again on a Post-It Note so I could make a mask of it. I cut the stamped image on the Post-It Note out and then layered it on top of the first stamped image. Then I stamped the jar on top of the mask. That way it looks like the flowers are hanging over the jar. Then I colored all the images using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party (for the water) and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Up!® Blends.
Next I cut out the piece of Basic White card stock that had the stamped images on top using a die from Nature’s Thoughts. This made the little dot pattern around the edge. Then I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set called Sweet As A Peach.
The brick background is from Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper.
Susan, this is so pretty. I love that brick backdrop for the flowers and your use of that die to frame them
So pretty! Colouring the small flowers with the same tone as the brick background really pulls it all together.
This is so pretty, Susan! Fun fact – I was going to use that set the same day but changed my mind. I’ll save it for later. Yours was way better than my idea!
