Penguin Place

Stampin up Penguin PlaceFirst of all, I have to apologize for this blog post.  My computer is in the shop for repairs so I am trying to write this post on my phone.  This is not an easy task (at least for me) so if the photo of my card is bad or if things are not lined up correctly, I apologize and will fix it when my computer is back.  In the meantime, this post will be short and sweet.

I made this card using the stamp set call Penguin Place. this set has a coordinating punch called Penguin Builder Punch and you can save 10% by purchasing them in a bundle.  I first stamped the Penguin in Gorgeous Grape ink and punch it out.  The punch can be used for the feet too so I punched them out in Fresh Freesia card stock.  I stamped the hat and scarf in Just Jade and cut them out by hand.  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Create With Friends.  I adhered the Wonderful Snowflakes to a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock using Multipurpose Glue  The snowflakes are iridescent so they sparkle and shine,  The little stars are called Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins.  As a side note, the Wonderful Snowflakes and the Cute Stars Sequins will be retiring at the end of the July – December Mini Catalog.

  1. You did a wonderful job with your phone!! I couldn’t do it. I love that you stamped the penguin in Grape. I always automatically go for black, and I think that is not overly creative on my part. Lovely background and card!

  2. This is gorgeous, Susan, and you don’t need to edit when your computer is back. It’s fine. I LOVE that little purple penguin. I wouldn’t have thought of using Gorgeous Grape. So cute – and those snowflakes are the best. Love the iridescent shine!!
