In the June – December Mini Catalog that just retired, there was a stamp set called Merriest Moments. It had a set of coordinating dies and embossing folder called Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. It was called that because the dies cut out the embossed image as well as the stamp images. It was beautiful. Stampin’ Up!® has now included another Hybrid Embossing Folder called Bouquet Of Love and it is gorgeous! I used the embossing folder to make the background on this card. Here is a photo of it.

The bundle that I am talking about is called Love & Happiness. It includes the stamp set of the same name and the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder. If you purchase them in a bundle you can save 10%. The stamp set is all sentiments about weddings, anniversaries, engagements and valentines. The dies include a couple of label dies to cut out some of the sentiments, two heart dies and some flowers and a leaf. The large heart die cuts out the heart image that the embossing folder makes.

To make this card I first embossed a piece of Blushing Bride card stock and another piece of Basic White. Look how pretty that background is! I cut the heart out of the center of the Basic White piece using the large heart die and then colored the leaves and flowers using Stampin Blends and Markers (Blushing Bride does not have a Blends so I had to use a Marker). I layered that on top of the embossing Blushing Bride piece. I stamped the sentiment (from a new stamp set called Sweet Conversations) in Fresh Freesia and cut it out using one of the label dies. I layered that on top of the heart using Dimensionals. Lastly I add some new embellishments called Polished Dots.
