Bouquet Of Love & Sweet Conversations

Stampin Up Bouquet Of Love

I have had a crazy time making Valentines this year.  First I had to make 34 Valentines for Madelyn and Nolan to give to their classmates and teachers.  I had a fun time making them using products each one would love.  Nolan’s were dinosaurs because his life is only about dinosaurs.  Madelyn’s were frogs because her teacher loves frogs.  I am not going to show you their Valentines because I used all retired products but they turned out really cute.  Now I am working on making Valentines for the rest of my family.  February is my month I take off from stamping.  It is not because I don’t want to stamp but it is because we spend that month in Florida and I just don’t have a place to set a stamping room.  Therefore, I spend the month of January making as many cards as I can so you will still see blog posts from me.

I made this card using a couple of different bundles in the Stampin’ Up!® 2022 January – June Mini Catalog.  The first thing I did was cut out the big heart in Basic White cardstock using the Bouquet Of Love die set.  I love how the heart cuts out the stitched edge on the outside of it.  I actually did this for another card but kept the outside to make this one.  I adhered this to a piece of Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper using Dimensionals, which I then placed on top of a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock.  I took a Basic White card base and ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  I like how it adds texture to the card stock instead of being plain and smooth.  I stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather ink using the stamp set called Sweet Conversations and cut it out using another die from Bouquet Of Love.  I love how these die sets can be used together.  Lastly I added some Polished Dots around the heart.

  1. I’m glad Amelia only has 10 in her class! This is such a great card. LOVE the extra texture, the stitched heart negative and that DSP. Enjoy your time in Florida. I am so cold! I’m ready for spring!!
