Stampin’ Up!® is having a great sale during the month of March on certain products that are in the 2021/2022 Annual Catalog. One of the products on sale is the Art Gallery bundle. This bundle includes the stamp set called Art Gallery and the Floral Gallery Dies. If you purchase them separately you would pay $56 but if you purchase them in a bundle during March you can get it for $44.75!
The Art Gallery stamp set is a two step stamp set. This means it can two or more stamps to make an image. I love two-step stamps because you can make a image with two different colors. In this set the flowers are two step stamps. Plus this stamp set has nine different sentiments included in it. The sentiments cover just about any occasion you would send a card to someone for. The Floral Gallery dies cut out all the leaves and flowers but also cut out the sentiments using a scalloped die. Plus there is another die that cuts out the words “just want to say”. It is a great all around stamp set.
To make this card, I first stamped the flowers in Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight ink. Then I used the second of the two step stamps to add the Gold Leafing. I first stamped it in Versamark ink and sprinkled it with Heat & Stick Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. You have to be careful not to overheat it or it loses the stickiness you need. Then I pressed it into a box filled with Gold Leafing. The gold sticks to where you added the Heat & Stick Powder. You just need to take a sponge or cloth and wipe off the excess. It is such an easy way to add some sparkle to your card.
After making the flowers, I stamped the leaves and stems in Old Olive ink and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I took a Basic White card base and added a layer of Misty Moonlight card stock onto it. Then I added a piece of You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper on top of that. I cut out a rectangle using the Stitched Rectangle dies and layered that onto another piece of Misty Moonlight card stock. I glued the stems on top and added the flowers using Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out using the coordinating die from Floral Gallery. I adhered that using Mini Dimensionals. Lastly I added some Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.
Remember this sale is only during the month of March or until products run out. Here is the list of what is on sale. There are some great sets included as well and the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.
