Seas The Day

Stampin Up Seas The Day

The Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Seas The Day is such a fun set.  It includes various sea creatures such as fish, an octopus, a crab, a starfish and a jelly fish.   It also includes some fun sentiments, bubbles and seaweed.  This stamp has coordinating dies called Sea Dies that cut out all the different shapes as well as a fun frame for your card.  This bundle is in the 2022 January – June Mini Catalog.  Unfortunately, it is going to retire at the end of this catalog.

To make this card I first took a 3.75″ x 5″ piece of Mint Macaron card stock and embossed it using the Bark 3D embossing Folder.   This embossing folder is also retiring on May 3rd.   I layered this on top of a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Daffodil Delight card stock and a Basic White card base.  Then I stamped the fish in Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight ink and cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I cut out the various pieces of seaweed in Soft Sea Foam card stock and layered everything using Multipurpose Glue.  The sentiments is a die from Pinkfresh.

It has been a long week after my surgery to fix a tear in my Achilles Tendon.  I am getting around more, which is great for Rob’s sake.  He has waited on me hand and foot (Ann’s pun) and has not complained at all.  Today I go back to the Orthopedic surgeon to have the cast removed and the stitches taken out.  I am going to have a wear a boot for quite a while after that and have physical therapy.  It does not sound like a lot of fun but when it is all over, I am hoping to be able to run circles around again.  I can’t wait to get this cast off!

  1. I love this card, Susan! I am ready to head to the beach now. Those fish are adorable, and I love that folder for a water look. Glad you’re healing, and I know you’re happy to have the cast off! Before you know it, this will all be just a memory!
