Yesterday was the first day of the new 2022/2023 Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog.  I have to admit, I placed a large order.  There are so many fun things in this catalog and I am ready for new products.  I can not wait for my order to arrive!

I made this card using one of the new stamp sets in the catalog called Sending Smiles.  This stamp set has coordinating dies called Sending Dies (although I did not use it on this card).  I decided to just use the stamp set to show how easy it is to make a simple card just using stamps, ink and paper and that you don’t need to spend hours to make a beautiful card.  Sometimes simple is beautiful.

I decided to use some of the new InColors on this card.  The card base is Sweet Sorbet.  The largest layer is Pretty Parakeet and then Orchid Oasis.  I used the same inks as I did the card stock.  I just stamped the stem first in Parakeet Party, the flowers and the centers in Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet and the sentiment in Orchid Oasis.  The entire card took five minutes to make and most of that time was used to decide what colors I wanted to use.
