It is hard to think about and make Christmas cards when it is 75 degrees outside.  I am not complaining.  I love the warm weather.  It is one of the reasons (besides grandchildren) that we moved to Tennessee.  The only thing is, it is the end of October.  That means I have one month (or so) to make all my Christmas cards and send them out.  I probably should close the blinds and pretend it is freezing cold and miserable outside.

I made this card using the Stampin’ Up!®  bundle called Joyful Flurry.  This bundle includes the stamp set of the same name and the Frosted Flurry die set.   It is a pretty stamp set that includes a variety of snowflakes and some lovely Christmasy sentiments.  The dies cut out the snowflakes, plus they make more snowflakes and they have two stitched dies to cut out the sentiments.

To make this card I first stamped a few different snowflakes and the sentiment in Versamark Ink, sprinkled white embossing powder and heat set them with my Heat Tool.  Then I cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I used Starry Sky and Balmy Blue card stock,   Next, I took a 3.75″ x 5″ piece of Basic White card stock and embossed it using the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder.  I had to do this twice since the folder is only 3.25″ wide.  I layered everything on top of a Basis White card base using Multipurpose Glue and Dimensionals.  Lastly, I added some Elegant Faceted Gems to the center of the larger snowflakes.

Remember, there is not much time left for you to make your Christmas cards so you need to get thinking about it.
