Framed Florets

Stampin Up Framed Florets

Stampin’ Up!® is a great company that really listens to their customers and demonstrators.  One of the things we have been asking for is the that the name of the stamp sets with coordinating dies both have the same name.  It is hard enough to remember one name in a bundle but two was even harder.  I am so happy that beginning with the new 2023 January – April Mini Catalog, they listened so that stamp sets and dies both use the same name!  It’s the little things!

Framed Florets is a bundle that is in the new Mini Catalog.  Stampin’ Up!® did a pre-release with this bundle that included the stamps, dies, Designer Series Paper and some embellishments.  Unfortunately, the DSP and embellishments were ‘as supplies last” so they are no longer available but the stamps and dies are.  You may see me still use the retired DSP in the future because it was so pretty but you can always replace it with another DSP.

To make this card I first took a 3.75″ x 5″ piece of Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper and used on the the Framed Florets dies to cut the oval hearts out of the center.  This paper is in the 2023 Sale-a-bration Catalog and is just gorgeous.  You can get this paper for FREE with a qualifying order!  I have used it a few times in the past and I think it is one of my all time favorites.  After I cut out the oval hearts I layered it onto a Basic White card base.

Next, I cut a piece of Basic White card stock using one of the other dies in the Framed Florets set.  This die cut out the oval frame as well as the inside oval.  I layered that onto the card.  It fits perfectly between the oval hearts.  Then I stamped the flowers using Fresh Freesia ink onto a piece of Fresh Freesia card stock and the leaves using Parakeet Party ink on Parakeet Party card stock and cut them out using the coordinating dies.  I stamped the sentiment onto Fresh Freesia card stock and cut that out using a die from the set called Give It A Whirl.  I layered that on top using Mini Dimensionals.

You can get the Dandy Designs DSP for free if you purchase the Framed Florets bundle (or any other merchandise totaling $50 or more before shipping and tax).  It really is beautiful paper and you will love.  There is not limit to how many items you can get for free.  Plus Sale-a-bration is a great time to join Stampin’ Up! In addition to the already excellent value of the Starter Kit, if you decide to sign up as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you can choose from three incredible options:
