Stampin’ Up!®  makes some great dies to go along with their stamp sets.  They usually always cut out the stamped images but then they add some extra dies in the set.    They add a fun shape, some label dies or extra images.  The stamp set called Artistically Inked has coordinated dies called Artistic.  This die set has a couple of added dies. I decided to use one of them on this card.

The first thing I did was cut out the flower image in Basic White card stock.  Because I used just plain white, I wanted the background to be colorful.  I cut six 4″ x .75″ strips of card stock using Bermuda Bay (I am sad this one is no longer available because it sold out already), Coastal Cabana and Pool Party.  I adhered them to a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Basic White card stock.  Then I cut the entire thing out using the Deckled Rectangle Dies.  After that, I ran it through my Cut & Emboss machine using one of the Basic 3D embossing folders to give it some texture.  These folders are part of the Online Exclusive products.  I adhered this piece to a Basic White card base and glued the die cut on top using Multipurpose Glue.  The sentiment is from the stamp set called Heron Habitat.  This stamp set will also be retiring on May 2nd.

Lastly, I added some Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems.
