Baby Wipes and Secret Garden Oops

I made this card using the Baby Wipes Technique. To do this technique all you need are re-inkers and baby wipes. I used Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Daffodil Delight ink. Put a couple of baby wipes in a dish and squeeze the ink onto the baby wipes. I like to do it in a circular motion (like a Bull’s eye) like this:

Then I used the baby wipes as an ink pad. The result is something like Tie Dying. The stamp set I used is called Secret Garden. The happy b-day stamp is from the Sale-a- bration catalog and is called Pretty Petites. This card could be used as an April Fools Joke. After I made it, I realized that I had made a mistake. Normally I would just recycle the paper and start over again but I wanted to show you that even though I am a demonstrator, I make the same mistakes as anyone. I just hide them better! Can you tell what I did wrong?

My Digital Studio Fun

I made this next card using My Digital Studio 2. It was very simple to do and did not take much time at all. My Digital Studio 2 is a great way to make quick and easy cards. You can buy the program alone or you can buy it with Digital Content. I would definitely recommend buying it with the Digital Content. You get over $500 worth of downloads with it. It has a ton of templates or you can make your own. One of the great features of the program is that you can also put designs on the inside of the card.

For this card, I used the Hexagon Punch and the Timeless Type Junior Letters and Numbers Downloads. The little flower is from the stamp set called Madison Avenue that is included in the One Big Sale-a-bration Digital Disc that you can get for free with any $50 purchase!

Floral Fusion & Pretty Petites

This is another card that I made a long time ago and never posted. I CASE’d it from another demonstrator and then changed it a little to make it my own. It uses two Big Shot dies – Sizzlets Floral Fusion for the flowers and the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die for the chevrons. The “For You” stamp is from our Sale-a-bration catalog and is called Pretty Petites and perfectly fits the Petite Curly Label Punch. Vintage Verses & Papillon Potpourri

I made this card using the Oval Framelits Collection to cut out the card stock. The large oval in that set is scalloped and perfect for this. The Designer Series Paper is called Sycamore Street and the sentiment is from Vintage Verses both of which are in the Sale-a-bration catalog. Finally I punched out the butterfly with the Elegant Butterfly Punch after stamping it with a stamp from Papillon Potpourri.

Dress Up Framelits

Here is another card we made at our Club meeting this week. It uses the Dress Up Framelits from the Occasions catalog. I really love these framelits! When you use it with Designer Series Paper (I used Sycamore Street which you can get free until March 22nd with a $50 order!) it looks like an old fashion dress. I used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder for the background. The flower on the dress was made with a flower from the Vanilla 5/8″ Flower Trim. All I did was press the flower into an ink pad (Island Indigo) and few times to change the color. Very easy!

The Designer Series Paper I used is called Sycamore Street. I love the colors in this paper. I also used two different Sale-a-bration stamp sets. The top stamp is from Vintage Verses and the stamps on the bottom are from Madison Avenue. I noticed it was the same shape as one of our punches in the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.
