Colors of Summer Silhouettes & The Paper Players

DSC00789The Paper Players Challenge this week is all about summer.  The colors of this card reminds me of summer and having rainbow sherbet as a kid.  Now, I really like sherbet and I love these colors, but ice cream will always be first in my heart!  I mean, I would take Mint Chip or Dulce De Leche ice cream over rainbow sherbet anytime, but I digress.

The colors I used are Strawberry Slush (a new In Color) and Pumpkin Pie.  I suppose pumpkin pies are better in the fall but these two colors look very summery together. The stamp set I used is called Summer Silhouettes and the Happy Birthday banner is from the new hostess set called Banner Greetings.  You can get this hostess set only by having a party with qualifying sales or by placing an order $150 or more.

For Mojo Monday I used the new stamp set called Mosaic Madness that is coming out in the new catalog. You can start ordering from this new catalog starting Friday, May 31st at 2:00 PM (EST).  That day is also a special day because you will also be able to order from the 2012/2013 catalog and the Occasions catalog at the same time!  I don’t think Stampin Up! has ever done that before.

I am absolutely loving the new colors that Stampin Up! is going to have in their new catalog which starts May 31st!  This next card is made with a couple of those colors which you may recognize from past In Colors.  The colors are called Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky.  When they were In Colors a few years ago, I loved them both so I am so happy to see them return.

If you look closely you will see another sneak peek.  See the flower?  That was made with White Simply Pressed Clay and Buttons and Blossoms Simply Pressed Molds.  They are so easy to make and I love the way they turn out.

I am really loving these new In Colors we are getting in the new catalog! I don’t think there is one of them I don’t like.  This card was made with Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana.  It seems like every color goes with each other which makes things so much easier.

The new Designer Series Paper called Quatrefancy has two pre-printed window sheets included with it.  The top half of the card uses this window sheet.  The bottom half is made with the new Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  You can purchase any of these products beginning May 31st!

Retirement List Comes Out Tomorrow!

Just a reminder to check my blog tomorrow because I will be posting the Stampin Up! retirement list.  I usually post at 6 AM but it might be a little later than that tomorrow.  Normally I am still asleep at 6 AM but I have a feeling my brain will be waking me up at 2:00 AM because the Retirement List as well as a PDF of the new catalog will be posted tonight at midnight (mountain time).  That means 2:00 AM for those on the East Coast.  By the way, only demonstrators can see these things early.  If you are anything like me and want to be able to get these sneak peeks, there is still time for you if you join today!  Just click on the Join Now button at the top of my web site.

Don’t forget that if you want to order any accessories, you should do it as soon as possible.  Things sell out quickly and I would hate for you not to be able to get everything you wish for.  This includes any Big Shot items, punches, ribbons, buttons…well everything but stamps!  Stampin Up! makes its own stamps so there is no need to worry about them running out.  You can (almost) always get and retiring stamps up until June 1st.
