I made this card using the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Perfect Pairings.  It is a great set of nine sentiments that cover just about any occasion you can think of.  You can get this set for free if you purchased some of the other items I used to make this card.  The stamp set is called Balloon Celebration.  It has a matching punch and if you bought both you could save 15% in a bundle.  The ribbon I used is in the Occasions Catalog and is called Watermelon Wonder 1: Stitched Satin Ribbon.  The Designer Series Paper is from the Annual Catalog and is called Cherry On Top.  Purchase all those items and you can get the Perfect Pairings Stamp Set for free!

Botanicals For You

I decided to use the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Botanicals For You.  This is one of my favorite sets that you can get for FREE with a $50 order.  I have always been a fan of large sentiments and this one is one of the biggest.  Plus it also has a bunch of smaller stamps such as the flowers and leaves I used.

Now go check out what Buffy made HERE and Jackie made HERE.  I am sure their projects are awesome because they always are!  One of the things I love most about participating in this challenge is I have no clue what they have made.  Let’s go find out together!

Vintage? Me?

First of all, just so you know, I can hear all your comments and noises concerning me making a vintage card.  Therefore, be careful what you say!  I suppose I could blame Buffy for this attempt.  She makes the most beautiful vintage cards ever and since I admire her so much, I thought I would try myself.  If you have been following my blog for any length of time, you will know I am not a vintage stamper.  Honestly, I stink at it.  Remember when I told you I often through my creations in the garbage?  Well most of the ones that land there are because I attempted something vintage.

That being said, I have to admit I kind of like this card (which is why I am posting it).  The Calypso Coral flowers are not really vintage but I added them anyway.  They are from the stamp set called Pictogram Punches.  The sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Botanicals For You.  You can get this set for free with a $50 order before March 31st when Sale-a-bration ends.  I also used a stamp set from the 2016 Occasions Catalog called Timeless Textures for the background.

Now, back to my usual CAS (Clean and Simple) cards!

There are only ten more days for Sale-a-bration left.  It ends on March 31st!  I think Stampin’ Up! did a great job on the Sale-a-bration stamps and accessories this year.  There is something for everyone in this catalog.  My favorite of all was the stamp set called Sky Is The Limit.  That set was only  available until February 15th but some of my other favorite items were the new ones that were added on February 16th.

My favorite stamp set of the new offerings is called Pedal Pusher.  It has the cutest bicycle built for two and every time I look at this set I start singing ” Daisy, Daisy…..” ♪♫♪   Don’t worry.  I won’t sing it out loud.  It might scare you!  Anyway, the stamp set also has a basket and flags and is just so cute!  Remember, you can get this set for FREE with a $50 order!  Better hurry.  Once Sale-a-bration is over, these sets will no longer be available.

Pedal Pusher Sale-a-bration

This is the second card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting.  It uses one of the sets from the 2016 Sale-a-bration catalog called Pedal Pusher.  You can get this set for FREE with a $50 order from Stampin’ Up!  It is one of the sets they introduced on February 16th to replace a couple that retired.  It is an adorable set.  It has the bicycle stamp along with a basket to put on the front, a flag for the back and all sorts of things to put in the basket.  I decided to use the tiny balloon stamp from the set called Party Wishes which is in the 2016 Occasions Catalog.  There are three tiny punches that go with this set called Party Punch Pack and you can save 15% by buying both in a Bundle.  We colored the bicycle using Blender Pens and ink pads.  You just squeeze the ink pad while closed which puts some ink into the top.  Then dip your Blender Pen into that ink and color.  It is very easy to do.

Stampin’ Up! has just added three new Sale-a-bration items that you can get for free with a qualifying purchase!  All you need to do is buy $50 worth of products and you can pick one free item.  Order $100 worth of products and get 2 items.  There is no limit to the amount you can get for free!!

The first item they added is Metallics Glitter Tape.  This is my favorite!  Now it is so easy to add a little glitter to your projects.  It comes with three rolls.  One is in gold, one in silver and one in white.  the best thing about the white tape is you can color it any color you wish!  Scroll to the end of this post for a video that shows you how to use the Metallics Glitter Tape.

The next two items Stampin’ Up! has added are both stamp sets.  the first one is called Party Pants and comes in wood mount or clear mount.  The balloon matches the Balloon Bouquet Punch that is in the 2016 Occasions Catalog.

Hello To A Grateful Bunch

This is another card we made at our February Stamp Club meeting.  It uses one of the 2016 Sale-a-bration stamps sets that you can get for FREE with a $50 order.  You have to hurry if you want this set because it is retiring March 15th and you will not be able to get it after that.

This card also uses a new stamp set that is in the 2016 Occasions Catalog called Grateful Bunch.  This set has a matching punch called Blossom Bunch Punch and you can buy them both in a bundle and save 15%.  I have to admit, this stamp set did not catch my eye at first.  Then I started seeing samples on Pinterest and I knew I had to have it.  I love the dotted leaves and the flowers.
