A Color Stamp Off Challenge

Today’s Stamp Off Challenge is a color challenge. I think I did it but I am not too sure. Sometimes we do these things way ahead of time because of travel or just being busy so it is hard to remember (age doesn’t help either!).

As I was thinking about making a card using these colors, I realized they are the color in the Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper called Carried Away. I am not sure if I saw a card with these colors somewhere and liked them or I am just an amazing genius and Stampin’ Up! cooperated. Chances are it is the first reason but I am going with the second!

I used the Balloon Pop Up Thinlits to make the cute ribbons on these “gifts”. This set of Thinlits is so much more than it looks. Other than the awesome Pop Up card it makes, there are also a couple of different tags, a slot for a gift card and balloons. The sentiment is from Confetti Celebration.

By the way, today is the last day you can get this great Designer Series Paper for free. Sale-a-bration ends today (so sad). Better hurry before it is too late.

Now let’s go see what Jackie and Buffy made. Do you want to bet they used the same Designer Series Paper?

Birthday Adventures

This is the first card we made at our monthly stamp club meeting. The name of the stamp set is called Birthday Adventures. I love this set. It is such a fun set. It has matching Thinlits called Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits and you can save 10$ by purchasing them in a Bundle. The stamp set alone is adorable but when you add the Pop-Up surprise on the inside, it is really cute. Here is the inside of this card:

A Stamp Off New Year

It is hard to believe it is Friday again so soon. I am not sure where all the time goes but it sure flies! Friday is always my favorite day of the week because it is when Buffy, Jackie and I do our Stamp Off Challenges.

This week Buffy gave us a New Year’s theme challenge.

I actually had a hard time with this one. I don’t really have any stamp sets that say Happy New Year but then I remembered that you can use other sayings to celebrate the holiday.

The “happy” came from a set of Thinlits called Hello You and the numbers are a must have set of Framelits called Large Numbers. Everyone needs that set because it can be used for so many occasions (graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.). The “let’s celebrate” and the banner are a stamp from a set that will be in the 2017 Occasions Catalog called Balloon Adventures. It is such a fun set. Of course, you have to have some sparkle on New Years so I used the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper.

Now let’s go check out what Buffy and Jackie did with this challenge. I am sure their creations will be awesome, as usual!

A Stamp Off Double Z Challenge

Friday is the day Buffy, Jackie and I do our Stamp Off Challenge. Today’s challenge is to make a Double Z card. I did some research on this card and apparently there are different layouts you can use that are all called Double Z. Of course, I took one of those layouts and changed it even more.

Here is my card:

I used a new stamp set and Thinlit dies that will be in the 2017 Occasions Catalog to make this card. The stamp set is called Balloon Adventures and the matching dies are called Balloon Pop Up Thinlits. When the catalog goes live on January 4th you will be able to save 10% by purchasing them in a Bundle. I also used some new Designer Series Paper called Party Animal which will also be in the 2017 Occasions Catalog.

Sneak Peeks

As you already know, I attended OnStage Local in Secaucus, New Jersey last weekend. One of the great things we got was a copy of the upcoming 2017 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. I can’t show you what is inside these fabulous catalogs but I can show you the covers. If you look carefully you will see some of the new products that will be in them. You will be able to order from both of these catalogs beginning January 4, 2017.

Another fun thing we did at OnStage Local is make ‘n takes. We got to make four of them. Here are the cards we made. The first card uses an awesome birthday stamp set and has matching Thinlits. One of the Thinlits makes a pop up on the inside of the card. It is just the cutest!

The next card uses a wonderful set of Thinlits that you are going to just love. It make this beautiful belly band below. Isn’t it gorgeous??

The third card uses some new Designer Series Paper that you can color. Color? Oh yes. There is something in the catalog to color with! Yay!

The last set of cards use a wonderful Valentine’s stamp set and matching Framelits. One of the Framelits makes the cute little envelope you see in the middle card. Plus, it makes the arrows, lined heart and so much more. The stamp set has 27 stamps in it and the Framelits have 14!!
